Green Cargo works to minimize consequences of the overtime blockade
The union SEKO has announced that conflict measures will take effect at 2 pm on Friday 12 May. Due to the scale of the conflict measures we have had to adjust our traffic. We are actively working to ensure that as many trains as possible run and to keep the number of traffic changes to a minimum. Customers affected by a traffic change will receive a message from our customer service for each respective transport.
From Tuesday, May 16, the conflict can be stepped up. This means that Green Cargo personnel working on unloading the ore trains in Luleå can be taken out on strike. From Friday 19 May, the conflict can be stepped up further and Baneservice Scandinavia's staff in Skandiahamnen in Gothenburg can be taken out on strike.
The conflict is between the employer organization Almega and the trade union SEKO. Green Cargo is affected by the effects of the conflict, but is not a party in the conflict.
We are carefully following the development of the negotiations and are taking the measures we can to reduce the impact of traffic changes for our customers.
Information We regularly update our website with up-to-date information. At www.almega.se you can follow the latest news regarding the conflict.
